"A Conversation with Chinh Chu"" is the inaugural event in Lien-Hang's series profiling exceptional Vietnamese-Americans tentatively called ""Rise from the Fall"" that tracks the community's ascent over the past half-century as we approach the anniversary in 2025. Chinh will discuss his family's journey to the United States in 1975, growing up in Queens in the shadow of the war, his career on Wall Street with Blackstone and CC Capital, and his philanthropy focused on Vietnam today.

"A Conversation with Chinh Chu"" will take place in Columbia's most hallowed hall, Low Library (c. 1894). Following the event, there will be a wine reception with light hors d'oeuvres
